Who could have thought about it? Martina´s luck changed once she entered high school. There was no need for her to going through a radical change to fin in. Once her classmates get to know her, they began really liking Martina. From being the girl that was fighting every single day to be treated like a normal human being, in a few months, she became one of the most popular girls in school. It seemed as if everybody fell under her natural charm. Those long and lonely nights, feeling as if she were an alien, got transformed into magical parties, where she discovered the sweet joy of being young and alive. For once, every thing seemed perfect for her. But having to balance her new popularity with the responsibilities of an average teen, was maybe a
little bit too much for Martina, who began neglecting the remains of what once was a beautiful friendship with Laura. Yes, moving on was a natural part of life, but as the months passed, neither Laura nor Martina made a clear effort to rescue their precious bond. It was ironic to see a couple of friends like those two, who once promised to be together, no matter what could happen; forgetting so quickly about each other. Maybe nowadays, promises are meaningless for the young ones...
