"Aw, mom! I think I´m never going to get over it", cried Martina while being in her mother´s arms, after talking about Laura. Days had passed by, but she still missed her a lot.
"Don´t worry, sweety. You can still talk to Laura online, also, I´m sure you are going to make a lot of new friends once you enter high school", the woman said, trying to cheer up her daughter a bit.
"Do you think so?"
"I am totally sure of it"
Martina gave her mother a little smile, but deep inside, she wasn´t sure of such a thing, as making new friends wan´t excatly her strongest point But in such a situation, she knew that the best thing to do would be just to smile and to hope for the best.
Sooner than she expected it, Martina´s first high school day came... and sadly, it was just as disappointing as the petite teenager expected. Nobody seemed to notice her, as it seemed as if everybody already had their own group of friends. Their classmates acted as if she were some kind of ghost
Tears began falling from Martina´s big brown eyes when she was on the bus back home. She missed Laura more than ever.
