Fatherly Advice

It was a sunny and warm day
There's no moodyness proper
Expect nuthin on a silver platter
Said me pa working his clay

He made clay plates see
Lovingly shaped and baked
Painted em and then packed
Sold many to a modest fee

If there's one thing he though me
Not counting the platter thing y'know
Its that down rushing river flow
Though it really didnt make sense

I think, think and think and think
Then I stop, my head gets sore
Then back to the daily chore
Again I think, think and think

Maybe I should ask me granpa
Go to his grave and did ask him I
My pa's advice what is it and why
