Born Women, Human Capital Approach does not apply in predicting labour force participation for recent Asian immigrant wives. The number of migrants from Asian countries to the US increases every year. But some studies focus on the recent immigrant women's participation of these countries in the labour market. This article examines the participation of immigrant women from East and Central Asian countries in the labour market, using the New Immigration Survey 2003 (Jason, Massey, Rosenzwig, & Smith, 2005). work. Logistic regression results indicate that their level of education and their experience in professional occupations are not significant indicators of their participation in the labour market, while their educational status and proficiency in English are important indicators. In addition, the study found that their reason for immigration greatly affected their likelihood of participation in the labour market. In contrast to women born in the United States, these results suggest that a human capital-based approach cannot be applied to predict the recent immigrant Asian women's participation in the labour market. Exhaust dandos alidos anidos de pièces aiétakos. Las Mujeras Casadas de Istos Pies in Fuerza de Trejajo, in partnership with Sin Embargo, Ha Sido Poca la Inquisición Sobre el Tempera. Mediante el Nuevo Sondeo de Inmigración 2003 (New Immigration Survey 2003, Jasso, Massey, Rosenzweig, & Smith, 2005), the present paper examines women's participation in the labour force in East and Central Asian countries. The study of logistic regression allows us to see that neither educational level nor previous experience in a professional position serves as reliable indicators of participation in the workforce, whereas in place of education as well as in English They serve as reliable indicators of the ability to communicate. The study also shows that the reason for migrating has a significant impact on the likelihood of participation in the workforce. The results suggest that, contrary to what happened to women born in the United States, it is not useful to use the issue of human capital as an indicator of the participation in the labour force of newly
asian wives of these Asian countries.
