The most perfect makeup
To hide a sad face;
Making everybody think
That life is perfect.
A plastic disguise
To hide bitter tears,
Fooling everybody
That was near her.
Nobody noticed
The glittery lie,
That deceived so many hearts,
Blinding them on a moment.
For most, she was ok,
But the young woman
Quietly hid a piercing pain
That stole the light from her eyes.
The darkness of the night
Was her only company,
Helping the woman to make it through
A world filled with hypocrite hearts.

September 18, 2015 - 00:34 Very emotional. We all have our masks...the only difference is some wear theirs in order to decieve, but some to hide their pain.ILLPolicy
