Colors

by purpletears
Bright green, just like the most beautiful trees in spring; that was the color of her eyes. Green, as the energy irradiated from the quiet forest. He.. tried and tried to turn all of those green memories into nothing but a big pile of black sand. But he couldn't force himself to do it. She was truly a waterfall of love; the most perfect source of inspiration an artist could ask for. Her presence was like a breath of fresh air in the life of the young artist. What once was devoid of color, thanks to her, became a colorful wonderland. The nights they spent together, had splashes of a wonderful red, intense tone of the same passion. Suddenly, not even the nights were totally dark, as she taught him to appreciate and love the silvery veil that covered the city at night. He wished she could stay forever by his side, always making sure that his life always were painted with the most beautiful tones. But.. she was only a traveling bird, a gypsy soul looking to change most people's lives with her art. And so, she had to fly away, even if that meant leaving the man she loved feeling so blue.
