Colors Of Love!

by Raviteja Paidi
The Beginning – “I Love!

Sam, an unsound song (He Can’t Speak.., ) was recently shifted with his family to the headquarters of India, New Delhi. He is utter creative and he can make better sounds with his art as he’s a born Artist. He makes people laugh, cry, think and love with his paintings. He’s fondly called “Pen of Emotions”

Sam lives with his Dad and sister. He’s never known what Mother’s love was! And it comes as a wonder as he understands the mere sensibilities of love, care and laughter. He’s loved by all in the vicinity, thanks to his artistic prowess of bringing life into the gloom of people with his ever creative arts.

That day, it marked Sam’s life for rest of his life. He was trying the heavens out to mix up the best color which brings life to the painting he was then working on, his mind and thoughts were clogged. There’s the beautiful Varna (Indian Name. Meaning: Color), at the frame. She’s has the beauty that stuns the worlds. She’s playing the festival of colors (The Holi, Indian Festival) and runs at him with the color gun. She listens sweet, “Happy Holi” and sprays the color on Sam’s face. This startles Sam, not just for the beauty of Varna but also, the sudden gesture of color spray. Guess what, she’s his neighbor

A bizarre and a baffled Sam, looks at the new color that’s on the sheet. It’s just beyond his creative horizon. His paintings were till then looked beautiful only to the world around him but, today he exclaims at his own. It’s more than colorful

Sam had no sleep that night, he only wished the night would turn a day; without a delay. He never cared the beauty of the full moon that day, which used to be his favorite sky gaze every month.

Sun played with a sensuous morning ray on his skin. Whoa, it’s soothing! Rooster had sung the sweetest song at the morning. The beautifully orange sky had a promising set of happenings for the day. He got the Goosebumps on a Sunrise. He never enjoyed a Sunrise like that ever before. The hot steamy kettle had wished him a “Good Morning” with the coffee.

Breaking out the Scene, was the knock on the door. Sam has parked his happiness for a moment to open the door!

God has been so dear; it’s Varna in grand white frock with a chocolate bowl in hand. Sam could only see the entire world blurred around the aura of Varna. God, she’s pretty. He had his muscles and nerves jammed for a moment only to relieve at her call. Hi Sam, “It’s my Birthday. Please take the chocolate and wish Me.!!” Sam thought he should gift her something; nothing anyways could do better than his painting. He unable to wish her in words could only paint it. Unable to speak out his emotions, wishes in hand and runs in home. Confused Varna, takes her way back.

The Departing:

Sam, clueless of what to paint; sketches the same scene of Sunrise, Happiness and a girl in New frock, accommodated in single landscape. It’s beautiful than he could ever think. All of which was possible only because of the Varna (Color, to reinforce) in his Life. A curious Sam knocks at the door of Varna with painting and a flower bouquet in the hand to wish her “Happy Birthday” again after three days.

In a Bizarre happening, he finds the landlord opening the door, settling the home after Varna’s family has vacated it. Landlord who himself was a big admirer of Sam’s paintings takes the gift and sighs a happy face and promises that he’d deliver it to Varna wherever she is.

A disheartened Sam rushes home and shoots into his hideout place from the world, his room which is full of birds, rabbits, puppies and all life forms which can’t speak but, as beautiful as his heart. This is where he spends his time when he’s sad. The parrot slowly walks to him, looks into his eyes and said, “Hi Sam, It’s my Birthday. Please take the chocolate and wish Me.!!” It repeated. Sam smiled in agony.

Few days later; Sam, has made his mind and rushed to land lord to find if he has sent the gift. If so, where did he? Landlord has replied, “I assigned it to my assistant who has left the job but, I’m sure he’d sent it as he knows where Varna’s family is in London"

Sam tried for years to get to know the address of Varna but, In vain. A moved dad has arranged for a Visa and a ticket to London just to find Sam happy!

Sam dashed a hug into his dad, having drawn to tears at what his dad has done to see happiness in his face. Sam is all set to chase his love of life and said farewell to all the hearts around which wished to see them together. His brownie (the grown up puppy) ran towards to not just hug him before he go but, to give paint that he’s created in the years he’s waited for Varna {A painting that explains how at their departing and how Sam’s heart wants to communicate the cry to Varna.

He steps in London, the city welcomed him with a soothing cool breeze and a yell, “Varna, come here!” A curious Sam could only see a cute little girl responding to that call from her Mom. As the tiny girl finds it hard to finish her steps, Sam quickly lifts her up kisses with a deep love and hands her over to Mom.” Thanks child. Replied Mom!

An enthusiastic Indian driver rushes at Sam and asks if he wants a drive. Yes, said Sam and took taxi to the home settled by his dad at his old friend’s guest house. The driver through the journey shares in his thoughts and makes sure he gives his number for any help around. Perplexed driver at not speaking Sam drives back.

He makes a point before he leaves the place, “If you are a painter, come and participate in the Grand London Painting festival”

The Colors of Sam’s Life:

Sam turns out the city side and decides not to leave any chance at finding Varna. He boards a local tram and gears up phones on his ear to listen some Music. Before, he did start any music, he hears out, “Varna, come sit here!” Following the call was a beautiful lady with a waving hair who responds. Sam could listen a melody with his phones off. It was a racing heart sounding as he approaches. The hair is painting beautiful strokes in the air. He only wished if that’s her. As he see her, in parts – a beautiful smile, freshness in the skin, big and talkative eyes. Sam, closes his eyes as till that day, he’s thought only his Varna is beautiful.

He believes in positive thought and opens his eyes. God, every human gets dumbstruck at that beauty. She’s an angel. In the meanwhile, a sudden jerk in the tram had her books falling down. An instinctively moved Sam hits his head to hers in attempt of picking the book. Whoa, she’s a goddess and her name is Varna, The only thing he could think then, “If this is her!”

He then notices the first page of the book; it’s his painting “The gifted painting to his Varna!”His joy is un-ending. He got the definition of cloud 9

He kept seeing her every day in the tram. He managed to get a noticeable share of her, looking at him. He wanted to meet her, like badly! An even dear weather is raining its heart-out then. He gets her eye-ball at him and then blows warm air at a relatively cold tram window glass and draws “A coffee cup” on it. A sensuously moved Varna smiles out without any other reply. Tram, then arrives at the station and they both get down. Sam gets ready to give up on the Grand painting fest! For this Coffee. While, she waits for him to call and heads her way out of the station with depressed of not hearing a call.

The “Grand Painting Fest” called up the entire gathering around. Driver, who drove him first in London, greeted Sam there. Sam heads in looking at all the paintings and stops in front of his’ just back to another girl patiently looking at it. Noticing what the painting lacks at, Sam rushes to the board and corrects a minute completing the painting. That has not just drawn a smile on his face but, also on the girl standing there. Sam turns back only to look at the smile going to curious look on girl’s face. “Yes, it’s the same painting he gifted her! And she’s Varna”
