Both of Them

Since we're in the same group, Gene, Tyler and I became best friends. They are quite popular, so now I'm one of the popular guys. The funny thing is that I already knew both of them from middle school, but we never hang out before.

For this vacation we wanted to book a trip to Europe together. Tyler can really use this trip because he just broke up with Michelle (my niece). The first week is almost over and we love it here! We went to all the coffee shops and the red-light districts in Amsterdam. Tonight we are going all in! Here in Holland they have the sickest parties and party drugs, so we have to go!

We're enjoying our privileges in the VIP lounge when all of a sudden Tyler comes back with a girl he just met. Both of them joined us and we were having a great time. ('She is actually kind of cute, but I'm not here to find a girlfriend so whatever'). Its around 4 o'clock in the morning and I'm the only one who is tired, so I'm going back to our place.

(The next day) While I walked to the bathroom I found both of them (Tyler and Gene) all hammered sleeping in the hallway to the bathroom. I took a piss and walked back. Then I looked in the kitchen and there she was..  Sara (the girl from last night). I think she came back with Tyler. We hung out a little and ate breakfast together ('she is so spontaneous and sincere, not like the girls I know back home').

The next few days we did all kinds of fun stuff (paintball, movies, casino and we even hired a limousine). Oh.. did I mention that Sara was there all the time. (That bastard Gene, he set it all up, I think he knows I like her, but well I don't mind ha-ha). I think both of them know that I'm falling for her.  (I don't care any more I'm gonna tell her).  Then I saw how Tyler was talking to her ('I'm so stupid. She came with Tyler, of course she likes him and not me'). 

(That night) I walked straight to the bar at the club and ordered six random shots and after those I ordered some Grey Goose with Energy drink. I met two girls and we started dancing and after doing some more shots. Before I knew it, the both of them and I were super wasted!

I stumbled to the VIP lounge, there I saw Sara again. She jumped up from the couch, gave me a little kiss and sat beside me. She asked where I was, and that she missed me. I looked in her eyes and saw that she was sincere. I felt kind of happy that moment. Then Tyler wrung himself between us and shoved a random drunk girl on my lap (he saw Sara first, so I should shut up and deal with it, that's the bro code).  He's trying to get Sara drunk so he would get lucky (if you know what I mean). When Sara saw the girl on my lap, she started to drink so she didn't have to deal with (what she thinks is) reality.

Gene was observing us the whole time and pulled Tyler aside. He told him that Sara and I liked each other. Tyler told him: "There is no future for them together. Sara and I, we have a deal. It was all a set up, so he would fall in love with her and then she would break his heart. He has to pay for what his niece had done to me'. Gene was amazed by what Tyler just told him. He couldn't tell on his brother ('you know what they say, blood is thicker than water').
