Listen to your heart before doing anything. Your heart knows the best. It doesn't mean you should ignore your mind. Your heart should be strong enough to convince your mind about your decision.

I had always ripped you apart.
I never listened to your sound advice.
I just wanted to be nice,
To others at the cost of my self-esteem.
In the process, I killed my dream.
I wanted to fly high like a bird,
But left my inner voice unheard.
I realized my mistake, but it was late.
I had already resigned to my fate.
Until someone gave me a rap on my head,
To open my eyes, and wake up from the bed.
Learn to love yourself for your own sake.
Life will then be a piece of cake.
Follow your heart and do not fret.
Over your failures as life is not over yet.
