A Chance

The world suddenly seemed a brighter place. It was almost magical. Somehow, she was able to find someone to share her loneliness with. Fort he first time on her life, she wasn´t walking the path of life alone. Maybe this was only a temporary high. So what? Anything was better tan going back to that dark life she used to live.

It wasn´t like she needed to have someone by her side; it was more like she found someone who understood and never judged her.

Suddenly, she felt like a part of something bigger than her; a little bit of love in her was able to teach the lady a wonderful lesson; there was nothing wrong with showing her true colors to the world. Yes, she had her own quirks, as everybody else. A terrible feeling of alienation slowly began fading, until it was nothing but pure dust. There was nothing to hide or to be ashamed for. No matter what her bullies said; she was a beautiful human being that deserved only the best things in the world. Among all the darkness, there were still beautiful reasons to keep breathing. There was still time to find a precious moment filled with pure happiness.
