Mr. Mitchell has read hundreds of novels and professes a love for reading. He has written dozens of short stories, a couple of plays and novels. Several of his short stories have been published. “One of my cousins gave me a whole bookcase full of novels, that belonged to her late father,” Mr. Mitchell said. He has also read several books about writing in addition to attending several weekend workshops.
