Unbearable

Spade and hoe on both of his hands,
Ready to dig and bury the past,
The ground is parked with concrete bricks,
Initially meant to forever last,
But time changes everything including these solids,
The hoe is sharp enough to do this past justice,
Break it down as it bleed betrayal tears,
Feeling guilt for betraying all the promises,

Promises for it to always remind him of the good times,
Good times that had always lit up his feelings,
Feelings that now seem to be just fantasies,
Fantasies for what would have been the present and future events,
Thoughts that make him hit harder and break all the bricks,
Turns to powder that he bury at his present flowers,
Water the flowers with his future goals,
He could no longer stand the past,
Unbearable.
