The singing talent

"Catch me ....." I shouted to Rita

She was chasing me all the way through the corridors of the school . We hit with the students but never mind who cares , just said a sorry and went on our way running .

Finally , I gave up , She caught me .

But suddenly our eyes fell upon a notice hung in the notice board . It was printed in a white sheet with bright colored fonts , It was printed in bold letters "TALENTS DAY...." , Our eyes lit up , It's been years since talents day has come and finally its coming back on JULY 2nd.... Woh..o .

When the announcement was finally done in the class , The children wanted to do something unique and be the best but who feels like giving up , not me. I and Rita decided to write up a song and sing it on talents day .

Oh! my god... Finding a perfect topic , making the lyrics and then giving a tune was a tiresome job . Not just that we have few pranksters in the class who try to copy and steal it so we had to be aware from them . Finally the day had come , we were fully prepared but Rita was fully nervous she felt like peeing in her pants guess her BP got higher and higher and was about to faint . I tightly held her and bought her to the stage , seeing the audience she was more nervous , her legs started to shiver even her hands . I started to sing but when Rita was doing her voice was very low , she was so frightened , I kinda felt like crying after so much of preparation and hard work , what if its gonna be flop ? But somehow we adjusted and was done with it and before we get the claps Rita ran away from the stage . I followed her , she started to cry and hugged me , "Never mind ,can do better next time "

I gave a funny look , she laughed and we walked away >
