The Box of Life. 1. Hope

It is something we need
to keep this life going
to keep on pursuing
something we are wanting
indeed.
It comes unexpectedly
at those disconcerting moments of uncertainty
when we want to quit trying
it keeps us going...
It flickers like light
a guiding light in the night
when it seems nothing was right
it gives us positive insight...
It lingers in our heart
for awhile
yet sometimes it fades and dies
leaving us weak and broken.
Hope
always present but
difficult to grasp
lingering
buf sometimes did'nt last.
