She ! and her Brother

I never thought she could do it!!! Even she herself couldn't believe that she did it!!! He was her brother!!!!

 The story  you are going to  read today is practically very pathetic to believe and even do! .

My story starts with the life of twins . Sristi the sister and Rahul the brother are both twins . they were two jolly kids enjoying their life. But the problem crept in when one evening sristi's dad told her that they will have to take care of rahul always , he is not like sristi , he is autistic. Sristi was then very small to understand all these , she was just 6. But she promised her father that she will do as he says. She loves her brother. Gradually the two kids started to grow up. Sristi was 15 now , she used to go to school , while her brother couldn't. He used to sit at home and play the whole day. Their parents were extra caring to Rahul , for obvious reasons.  The parents were not that caring towards Sristi because they thought Sristi is capable of taking care of herself and gave all their attention towards Rahul. But that was not the case. Sristi was a teenager now and she demanded attention. She was at such a age of her life where she was very vulnerable and needed to be taken care of. She expected her parents to be a bit more attentive towards her and care about her. She felt lonely within her family. At this stage a very popular boy of her  school one day approached her , he wanted to be friends with her . she liked this attention. She went on getting closer to the boy. She built a fantacy world of her own round the boy. She started living in that world. Suddenly in her boreing unwanted life there was something beautiful happening. She enjoyed it very much. She was happy to know that some one  was there to care about her , give her attention . one day she called him home. As he came she was very happy. But as he entered he saw her brother . he got attracted to her brother and started playing with him. Now she was very angry . she called him to her room and asked are they dating or not !!?? The boy seemed surprised !!!! He said "it was rubbish ! They were just friends and he never thought like that" and left. Sristi was shattered. Her fantacy world crumbled within a second . she cried the whole night. Next day she with her brother were going somewhere in a cab. She was crying. At one spot he told the cab to stop and got out of it. She took her brother at a unknown market place and told him to go to any shop he likes and buy whatever toy he likes. As her brother was gone she left. Coming back home she was crying heavily. Her parents asked her where was the brother. She made up stories and told he was lost. Her parents soon filled a complain to the police. After a long search they got back rahul. He was OK no harm was done. But later when the parents came to know the whole story they were shocked. They couldn't believe their ears. Sristi told them everything. She was herself shocked with her behaviour and cried heavily.

 But my question is , whose mistake was it !!?? Was it sristi's mistake to expect a little more love  and attention from her parents!? Or it was her parents !?  This is a problem that we must take care about and understand that kids r kids parents must treat them equally and be a bit more sensitive.
