Posterity

It's about my journey of life, the relationships I have formed and how unfulfilling they are.The title "posterity" is a reminder that I don't want to forget all that I have learnt so far. The contrast between 'ugly' and 'hateful' refers to character

I've known people
I've known people of different shapes and sizes
With different views and opinions
Of different ethnicity and culture
With different backgrounds and trainings
With different morality and characters

I've known people
With their myopic, ancient and sometimes trivial reasoning
I've known the proud, the pompous, the rich, the ugly and the deaf and dumb
The funny and the fun killers

I've known people
The die hards and the vengeful
The ignorant and those who rant
The ugly and the hateful
In fact,
I've known people

And am no longer surprised at what they can or cannot do.
