Memories

by LexB85
"Do you remember?", they always say
while holding on to remnants of yesterday
The time slips away, but the memories remain
the moments gone, but the thoughts still engrained
glimpses of days come and gone
times when you were weak, that in turn made you strong
fragments of life you wish you could get back
pieces that grow dim as you continue on track
The record gets longer as you travel down your path
as you look back on yesteryear and you begin to laugh
Your hope is that those memories will be shared throughout the years
and that your days will be treasured when you are no longer here
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?
