It started with a strum of a guitar
When you and me saw the star
Then the spark in us started
And I never thought we'd parted

As days went by I noticed
That you were being teased
With someone I knew
Is she your lover, new?

I still remember the time
When I taught you how to cook
And you taught me to read the book
And the moment gave its rhyme

But when you left the food to me
And somebody asked it for free
I was not able to say no
Your eyes looked like a foe

Since then you never smiled
And even stare at me the way you do
What happened to you?
Is there something I can do ?

To bring back the spark
That was before so shine
And even the dark can't stop
Please tell me I need you so
