Lone Imprisonment

No monsoons nowadays to drench my life,

For the solacing rainfalls everyday i strife,

Craving to catch a glimpse of you for decades,

Every part of me thrives for you as life fades,

Heart so thirsty to melt in your embrace,

Even the soul is indulged in this futile chase,

Never ending torture , a cunning punishment,

Death would have been easier than this lone imprisonment.
