Life is like that !!

Both of us were sitting on a bench on the seaside near our house. She seemed so confused and feared that I really got anxious to know the reason.

She told me about the dilemma she was facing in her life.

Whats the matter I asked deliberately. She first refused, than agreed after taking a promise from me for not telling this to anyone.

"From childhood I had a dream of becoming a role model for people . I wanted people to know me for my work. Years passed and finally at the age of about 10 I came to know that i am really interested in dance especially classical dance forms. This made me to request my parents to make me join a dance class.
Hence, I joined. So i was happy for it. Many stage shows ,awards , certificates always increased my confidence level. "

By this time , i was just thinking that what would have happened in her happily going life.

She continued " years passed and i completed my school & at the same time I also completed my dance course in bharatnatyam ,kuchipuri and mohiniattam.

I was not so good in studies so i decided to become a classical dance teacher which would provide me a good livelihood and would continue with my interest .

When I talked with my parents about it they were really expressionless. Actually they wanted to make me a doctor and so this was like a thunderclap for them.

They think that taking dance as profession is not a good sign for any of our family members especially when all my cousins are doctor ,engineers and managers in banks. They say that if I choose it , then other family members will break relations with us.

I really do not understand that people who inspite of having so much respect for my dance teacher, are not ready to see me to become like her .They want me to follow her but do not want to see me like her."

Listening this I then came to know one thing that either the world around us is confused or we ourselves are confused about what is the best career option for
us and the day we realise it , it becomes too late
