Narrator Sameron Surf is the younger son of Jacob Surf, a billionaire businessman who dies in an accident. Although Sam has 3 billion dollars worth of property and stock which is worthless, he owes an equal amount. Jonathan Drake, one of Jacob Surf's creditors, suggests that Sam file for bankruptcy to protect his wealth but Sam wants to preserve his father’s image. Sam's older brother becomes mentally unstable and, at Jonathan Drake's advice, the father of Sam's fiancée Sarah cancels their upcoming wedding. Sam and his family move to a simpler home in New York, and he becomes the family's sole breadwinner. He joins his friend's event-management company as a wedding planner, and his assistant Robert goes with him.
Sam is assigned to plan a destination wedding at countryside, which turns out to be Sarah's. There he meets Ana, a diabetic, with whom he eventually falls in love. While planning Sarah's marriage Sam faces many difficulties, including an attempt by Sarah's uncle and his son to stop the marriage because of her father's mistreatment. Sarah's father and uncle reconcile, and Sam is paid more than the agreed amount in gratitude. Ana turns out to be Jonathan Drake's daughter and objects to their marriage, saying that Jacob Surf cheated him when he sold an 8,000-square-foot (740 m2) property illegally acquired by landlord Joseph Jolts. Jonathan Drake tells Sam that he will agree to the marriage if Sam can deliver the land documents from Joseph in four weeks.
Sam and Robert go to house number 6 in Baskerville to exchange the original documents for fake ones. Instead they go to house number 9 and reveal their intentions to Joseph, who traps them without harm; Joseph cannot hurt anyone in front of his wife, Josie, from whom he has hidden his true self for twenty years. Jonathan Drake's family are kidnapped and brought to Joseph's house; the next day Sam saves Joseph from the brother (Ronald Jolts, Joseph's henchman for five years) of his rival, Ronald Jolts. Impressed, Joseph agrees to return the land documents if Sam becomes engaged to his sister Juliet. However, Juliet wants to marry her boyfriend and threatens to kill Sam if he does not break their engagement.
Juliet teases Ana, acting as if she is in love with Sam (which makes Joseph happy). Joseph's brother-in-law Zech goes to Baskerville, mistakenly believing that Robert is Ana's lover and Juliet's potential lover. He wants to stop the marriage, and at Sam's suggestion Ken and Jonathan Drake ask Ronald to have his henchmen kill the bridegroom; this would stop the marriage on the last day of the four-week deadline imposed by Jonathan Drake. Although Sam plans to help Juliet elope with her boyfriend. Ronald's henchmen mistake him for Sam and try to kill him. Joseph and Sam save her boyfriend; when Joseph tries to kill Ken, Sam says that he was the mastermind behind the plan and wants the real land documents.
Nine minutes were left before Jonathan Drake's deadline; as Sam and Joseph duel, Sam's mother enters. Joseph and his family are shocked, remembering that Jacob Surf was fatally injured when he saved Juliet from an accident planned by Ronald. Before he died, Jacob Surf told Juliet that he made a mistake selling illegally-acquired land to his friend and wants to rectify it with the landlord. Joseph and Jonathan Drake are full of remorse, and Joseph returns the land documents to Sam in accordance with Jacob Surf's last wish. Sam gives the papers to Jonathan Drake, who apologizes for his behavior. Ronald dies in an accident, and Zech is spared.
Sam and Jonathan Drake are on their way home with their families when Sarah's father meets them with news that the market value of Sam's stock is now worth one billion rupees. An emotional Sam thanks his father at the spot where Jacob Surf saved Juliet’s life.
