I Like you as Much

*While I dipped my feet into the cold clear water, he placed his arms around me just like he always do.
We were close. In every way. In touch and in general. We were always together. But when we weren't, we would call each other every hour.*

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" I ran as fast as I could towards the ocean direction, followed by little footsteps. I could still hear his pant and his feet following. Tears were still running, and it was continued with a sob when I reached the water. I was wearing a white summer dress that my mom bought me. I could hear his breathing right behind me.
There was a beautiful sunset in front of us. He always brought me here whenever I'm sad or mad, but this time, it was my choice.
"Is it really true?" I asked, trying to sound less pathetic.
He didn't answer me for a while. He never was much a talker anyways, but when he is, he always has a brilliant reply.
"That I'm in love with a girl?" His husky yet still teen voice replied. I kept silent, knowing that he knew what I was talking about.
"Yeah... I love her laugh. Her smile. Her brown wavy hair. She lives in this small yet really nice white house near the beach. She always enjoys annoying me by teasing me with other girls that likes me-"
"You don't need to give me any details." It came out with a mad tone. But he kept on continuing.
"And she is as stubborn as you in fact."
I twitch my face. i turned around and started hitting him and telling him to stop, but he kept on going.
"And I love it when she cares so much about who I like when it's actually herself."
I stopped and stared at his chest. I froze. He rapped his long lean arms around me and I blushed.

That was stupid and embarrassing.

"Can we pretend as if this never had happened?" I spoke under my breath.

"But then I wouldn't know that you really actually like me that much." I could sense him smirking right now, making me blush more.

"But I bet I like you as much." He finished
