Jonathan, the head of his town, lives with his wife Sarah, his two sons- James and Thomas (Tom), and his two daughters. He helps James become a doctor and builds a local hospital. On the day it opens, James comes back home with his lover Katherine, also a doctor. Both express their wish to marry and settle abroad, which upsets Jonathan, leading to their separation.
25 years later, James, a successful doctor in London, tells the story to his son Sam and daughter Pepper. Sam decides to go home to Jonathan and attempt reconciliation. He meets his friend, Bunny, at the New York airport and goes to the town on Bunny's bike the next day. On the way, he witnesses a bet organized by Tom and Ron (Sam’s distant cousin); he gets help of Jonathan (his grandfather) to pardon Tom and get Ron arrested. Sam then introduces himself as a student from London who came here to learn agricultural practices and martial arts. He particularly impresses Jonathan's family when he saves his cousin's life and so is allowed to stay with them. But he does not reveal the truth.
Jonathan's friend’s daughter Ana comes back from New York. Sam is surprised to see Ana's cultured behavior and traditional attire, as Bunny and Sam previously met her in a pub in New York. She is equally surprised to see him; his cell phone contains photos showing how she spent her time at the pub. Sam blackmails Ana with the photos. She then asks Tom to get Sam's cell phone by telling him that Sam is blackmailing her. Their collective efforts fail, and Ron is also dragged into the affair.
A fight happens between Sam and Ron, deepening their rivalry. To get rid of Tom, Jonathan arranges Veronica's marriage. Ana tells Tom about this, he then kidnaps Veronica. Sam chases him and saves Veronica and gets Tom arrested. Ana finds Sam's phone and finds out his true identity. Sam offers to help Jonathan renovate the hospital he built with his father's assistance. Jonathan accepts the offer. Sam finds out that Ana has his phone when he goes to call his father. She deletes the photos of her. After learning that she knows the truth, Sam does a deal with her. They fall in love with each other.
Later, Veronica, now Sam's friend at the house, tells him why Tom was expelled from the house. Tom and Veronica love one another and Jonathan does not approve of it, as Tom is rather spoilt and drinks too much. Frustrated and intoxicated, Tom enters Veronica's room and tells her of his attempt to sexually assault her so as to marry her. However, Jonathan expels him from the house after catching him. Jonathan’s brother-in-law and his son, Alexander, who plan to set up a Special Economic Zone manufacturing beer, releases Tom from jail. Sam's father sends the advanced equipment to New York, which Bunny and Tom receive. Tom attacks Bunny and seizes the equipment. Sam stops Tom and his men and reveals his identity. Tom realizes what he has done and reconciles with Jonathan. The equipment is unloaded at the hospital.
Pepper too visits Jonathan's house. Ana gets engaged to someone else. However, she tells Sam that she would die if she doesn't marry him. He decides to break up with her and upon hearing this, Tom reveals Sam and Pepper's identity to Jonathan, who orders Sam's and Pepper to leave the house.
Later, Sam gets a phone call from his father who plans to come back to the town. Suddenly, Ron kidnaps Pepper. An injured Sam manages to save her, but gets shot by Ron. Tom arrives and Sam prevents Ron from getting harmed by saying that Ron too is a family member. James comes to the hospital and operates on Sam. When Sam regains consciousness, Jonathan welcomes him, Pepper and James back into the family. The film ends with Sam getting married to Ana and Tom to Veronica, also coinciding with Jonathan and Sarah's anniversary
