Father Christmas is preparing his sleigh

Christmas is nigh. Babies are sending their wishes to
Santa. The children are anxiously waiting at their fireplaces for early gifts
through their chimneys.

Santa is awakening his many elves to prepare his sleigh.
Yet their first task is to shovel the snow away from the front door of Santa’s
hut. This takes 12 elves, six holding each side of the shovel.

Their next task is to wrap the hundreds of stocking
fillers for the children. They do this with their teeth. Santa rewards them
with cheese and pineapple pieces on sticks.

Their next task is to prepare Santa his sausages! They do
this by spearing the sausages with long forks, which they then cook over an
open fireplace.

Their last task is to arrange the gifts on the sleigh,
stacking them high, once again, using their teeth.

The elves are happy. They are all back in Santa’s hut by
midnight. A few witches, left over from Halloween, fly above, screaming as they
disappear into a bright whirl.

Christmas time has come around again! People rush around
in the cold, holding presents for their children.

Santa likes his sleigh to be prepared well in advance.
His reindeer can wait for a while.

There are tons of carol singers and well-wishers in the
train stations. The festive atmosphere is roaring along, as is Jack Frost!
Santa now has his quart of whiskey and his elves are racing around, grooming
the reindeer with their little mittens, in preparation. Santa is happy and
sings carols to his elves. He ushers them into back into his hut, where they go
to sleep in their little cots. Santa then takes off his robe and retires to his
bed, under his fur wrap. His fireplace keeps everyone warm. He is content,
knowing everything is underway.
