Catch Mamma Mia, The Timeless Musical Classic At The Novello Theatre London

Watch the ABBA musical Mamma Mia, which has been pulling audiences to the theatre for over a decade now at the Novello Theatre London. Catherine Johnson's fabulous story has turned into a fantabulous musical with the smashing hits of ABBA, one of the most successful bands of all time. Along with the mesmerizing title track Mamma Mia, the musical features some of the band's greatest hits like Does Your Mother Know?, Dancing Queen, Super Trouper and Take A Chance On Me. Currently running at the Novello Theatre London, Mamma Mia's theatrical journey has been a triumphant one with the show going for a record breaking run at the theatre. It has been directed by Phyllida Lloyd, who has shows like The Prime Of Miss Jean Brodie to his directorial credit. 
 Mamma Mia made its world premiere when this West End Production opened at the Prince of Wales Theatre in 1999. In 2001 the musical made its Broadway debut and in 2008 it was adapted into a film by the original creative team. The humans broadway discount tickets   have repeated their record breaking success every time its sale began at the box office. The incredible music of the show has come from Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, the former members of the ABBA band. They have been the original music composers of the internationally acclaimed pop band and have been involved with the musical since its initial days. Anni-Frid Lyngstad has contributed financially to this timeless classic which has been produced by Judy Craymer. The show include band's smashing hits like Lay All Your Love On Me, Knowing Me Knowing You, Thank You for the Music, Money, The Winner Takes It All, Voulez Vous and SOS. The jukebox musical has been viewed by over 42 million audiences worldwide and its earnings have grossed $2 Billion ever since the show premiered at the Prince of Wales Theatre. 
 It takes audiences to a spectacular journey to one of the breathtaking islands in Greece where the twenty year old Sophie while preparing for her marriage with Sky happens to find her mother Donna's old diary. Her mother's memoirs tell her about three men with whom she has once been romantically involved and one among them happens to be the father of her daughter. An excited Sophie, without Donna's approval sends invitation to all three of them for her wedding. Donna is taken a back upon their arrival just days before her daughter is about to exchange her vows. Meanwhile Sophie is still unable to solve the mystery of her father and so are Donna and the three men. The trio finally decides to be one third of a father to the girl! Spectators must follow the musical till the climax to catch numerous such hilarious moments in the theatre. 
 Novello Theatre is grade II listed by the English heritage and is located in Aldwych in the City of Westminster, London. The theatre has been named after Ivor Novello who once lived in one of the flat above the theatre. It along with other 40 West End theatres featured in Donald Sinden's 2012 documentary DVD named the Great West End Theatres.
