A tale of two cheetah cubs

)A sight that would melt even a heart of stone.
To find two Cheetah cubs waiting alone.
Hiding in the bushes, fearing for life.
Each passing moment brings a survival strife.
Hoping against all odds for their mother to come.
Unless she became a prey to a creature fearsome
Or may be hunted down by a man ,
Whose misdemeanor may have cut its lifespan,
Those innocent eyes are searching for their mother,
Who might have had a hard day another,
The cubs could now hear a faint growl,
As they think it might be their mother on a prowl.
Their mother has now returned from a hunt futile,
The cubs seem to give a faint smile.
Then, they suddenly come out of the bush,
To welcome their mother, who gives a slight push.
Licking her young ones with motherly love,
Even God seems to have blessed them from heaven above.
Though Mother Cheetah did not get a prey.
But she has managed to keep her enemies at bay.
From attacking her cubs on that day.
They are frolicking , being happy and gay.
