7 Holiday Gift Ideas to Give A Photo Printing Business Owner

by Bianca Banda

December is one of the most beautiful times of the year because people are more generous than ever. Thinking of Christmas gifts can be stressful, especially if you’re gifting them to someone who seems to have everything in life. When giving a present to a business owner, getting them a gift that may seem more affordable than they deserve can be intimidating.

Sometimes, when you think of gifts for business owners, you overthink ‌the presents you’d like to give them. But most of the time, receiving presents that spark joy and add convenience to their daily lives are the ones they appreciate most. There are various types of business owners in the world. But in this post, we’ll talk about photo printing business owners. Here are some gift ideas that you can give them.

1 - Personalised file organiser.

Most likely, a photo printing business owner already has a lot of photography and printing-related items they use for their work and daily lives. The chances that the photo printing business owner you know has a lot of documents and files are high. With that, it would be helpful to give them a file organiser to help them better organise and arrange their printed files.

Even though it may seem like a file organiser is not a thoughtful gift idea, it can be a great present, especially for people who are always on the go. And even though the photo printing business owner prefers organising his stuff digitally, having a physical filing system helps and is inevitable for businesses. To make it unique, choose a colour, design, and style that would suit the recipient.

2 - Travel mug or tumbler.

Yes, mugs and tumblers are the typical gifts people give to corporate professionals. And even though they’ve become typical, you can never go wrong with them. The secret to a unique travel mug or tumbler that people would love is choosing a brand with proven quality, unique style, and personalised design.

Surely, many have already gifted a photo printing business owner with a personalised tumbler. However, only a few would consider giving them a personalised tumbler or mug with their business name or logo. Most of the time, people give them one with their name or photo. If you believe your recipient doesn’t have a personalised tumbler or mug yet with their business name, this can be a lovely gift idea.

3 - Personalised laptop sleeve

Almost every business owner uses a laptop for their business, especially when they prefer working remotely. If your recipient has one, why don’t you give them a personalised laptop sleeve? If you want a unique personalised gift, getting them a laptop sleeve would be nice.

Usually, personalised gift items use machine stamps to emboss the name. If you don’t like the typical personalised gift way, I recommend looking for a shop that does personalised handpainted gifts. Your recipient will surely love and appreciate it and enjoy the gift because the personalisation is unique.

4 - Custom but quirky nameplate

Another fun gift idea to give is a customised nameplate. If the business owner you’re gifting to has an office or works in their personal space, I recommend giving them a custom name palette with a twist. If your recipient already has one, it’s likely a nameplate with their position.

For a change, why don’t you add playful adjectives and phrases to their nameplate to make it quirky? It can be “the world’s most gorgeous business owner” or other fun phrases that will surely make them smile. It can also be an inside joke or a unique nickname you have for them. Working can be challenging and tedious sometimes, so giving a gift that would put a smile on your recipient’s face would be nice.

5 - Air diffuser or humidifier

Some people find more motivation to work when their environment is clean, homey, and comfortable. One of the ways you can do so is by using scents to your advantage. Research says that our sense of smell triggers us to recall memories from the past. And if there’s a scent you know your recipient would love or enjoy, I recommend getting them an air diffuser or humidifier.

Gifting an air diffuser or humidifier is a practical gift because your recipient can use it at home or in their office.

6 - Self-help books about business

Another great gift idea you can give to a photo printing business owner is a self-help book about their industry. Regardless of the business owner’s success in their career, they surely would appreciate learning more about the business world and how they can ace it better. If you don’t think the recipient would appreciate receiving a book about business, you can get them self-help books instead.

Many self-help books can make you feel better after reading them. It can be a book about meditation, happiness, work-life balance, love, or other topics you believe would be helpful to your recipient.

7 - USB flash drive or hard drive

Last but not least is a USB flash drive or hard drive. Most likely, the photo printing business owner you know already has a lot of storage space because their work requires one. But as they say, you could never have enough storage if your business revolves around working on digital files for operation.

If you don’t think the past gift ideas I shared would work with your recipient, I recommend getting them a USB flash drive or hard drive instead. It’s a practical and wise gift because they’ll need those to store their business or personal files sooner or later.

Any gift that is useful to their career would be a great idea.

Aside from the seven gift ideas I shared above, there are more that you can give them. If you don’t think the seven gifts I shared would fit your recipient’s interests, you can focus on looking for items you believe would be helpful in their profession. At the end of the day, you know better what those people’s interests are, and it’s up to you to choose a gift they’ll love and appreciate.
