When I'm Weary

by Lorenzo A. Fernandez Jr.

When I’m weary
I usually go out
And prowl the streets,
Eating poison
And crazy philosophies.
I become a rolling stone
Whose freedom is the enemy
Of every walking stick
And after that, I go to bed,
Tired but clear
In the head.
