When Death takes you to Dinner

by YorkGewatter
Fear swallows me as death takes his first bite.
The shadows coat me sticky tar while the spiders begin crawling under my skin.
People want to help me,
but the walls of my chambers beat like the flesh of a pounding heart.
I try and rip out my eyes but more emerge from the walls just claw back in.
I want to escape but the door keeps moving away,
an endless corridor of mirrors showing me struggle,
showing me cry, I don’t want to look at myself.
My hair is ripped out, I’ve been crying so long that my tear ducts filled with blood,
my skull is transparent, revealing my blackened and sick mind.
The fear swallows me as death takes his last bite.
