Visiting Winnetka house

by MinPerring90
If you were to ever ask Jenny Brown what her favourite film was she would always say, without having a moment of hesitation, the home alone film. For her the home alone film was the all round best film which was cast in the nineties. From having grown up in the nineties, the home alone film instantly brought back childhood memories to Jenny Brown. She could still clearly remember to this day, the very first time when the first home alone film came out. Back then she was only ten years old. One Tuesday afternoon her best friend called Gemma Davies invited her over to her house. And they both ended up watching the home alone one film whilst literally eating loads of toffee popcorn. Mouth watering homemade toffee popcorn made by Gemma's mother. Jenny Brown especially, thoroughly loved watching the film and eventually persuaded her mother Susie, to buy the home alone film on DVD. Much to her delight and watched the film endlessly without tiring of it. Jenny Brown had dreamed of visiting the home alone house in Winnetka someday.

Jenny Brown who was now in her thirties, and was employed as a full time administrator. Working for a local travel agency that was just located in the outskirts of the Hayton village where she lived close by to. Even twenty five years later she still thoroughly loved watched the home alone films. Such a great and highly entertaining comedy film Jenny Brown thought. Especially being a great fan of watching comedy and drama films. She had already been to America abroad with her family a few times before. But not to visit the city of Winnetka. To visit the Winnetka house was definitely a life goal of hers.

After having had a long tiring day at work dealing with heaps of paperwork and photocopying documents, she decided to go online and book a one week holiday break to Winnetka. She looked really forward to going soon. In a month time. Before Jenny knew it a month soon flew by. And the day had come to go to Winnetka to visit the grand house. She arranged with the house occupants to have a tour around the Winnetka house on the Wednesday afternoon which they agreed to. She could not literally wait until she flew off to Winnetka.

On that Wednesday afternoon she visited the Winnetka house at around two o clock. When she arrived there Jenny Brown was warmly greeted by the house occupants that lived there. She loved going on the Winnetka house tour, the interior of the house was so beautifully decorated and furnished. She could then easily picture young Kevin McCallister running right down the flight of stairs when the home alone film was cast. Although she got pretty tired after having climbed up all those few flights of stairs in the Winnetka house. But she knew that she thoroughly enjoyed going on the house tour and Winnetka was one of the best places she had been to.

November 21, 2015 - 13:01 Definitely potential, but far too much repetition. You use the word 'film' ten times in the first paragraph, and the phrase 'home alone film' (which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, in english) six times in the first paragraph. You are setting some scenes and your exposition is pretty good, but i think you need to find some creative and different ways of saying certain things, rather than repeating the same words/phrases over and over which can be very distracting. Hope that helps! Keep writing! -Patrick
