The Warlock Down The Street - Part 3

by PenFairy
"Oh Madeline! I know so much more than just your name!", as the words escaped his lips, he took a step closer.

"How would I not know about you, my love? I know everything about you..My beautiful wife," as he finished the sentence, he was standing so close, I could feel his breath on my skin.

"My wife...my wife...my wife..." his words lingered in my mind and it continued to repeat like a broken record.

His eyes held mine hostage. I was lost in his dark mystical eyes. It felt like he has taken control of my mind and was manipulating it to his wishes, but truthfully, I was numb.

He gently raised his right hand and held my chin in his index finger. The softest touch I have ever felt!

His fingers were warm. The touch...so soft, yet so firm and masculine. The touch felt so familiar, so safe, I felt my blood flow getting a degree warmer (If that is even possible)

His gaze still transfixed on mine, he leaned forward and planted a soft and warm kiss on my forehead.

As soon as his lips touched my forehead, I felt like a high voltage electricity passed through my body, from my head til my toes. My breath stopped.

I closed my eyes and sudden flashes of images raced through my mind, around 50 images per second.

I saw myself in a long silky red dress, at a ball, laughing and enjoying myself.

I saw myself in bed with this warlock, laying on his chest, as he leaned and planted a kiss on my forehead.

I saw myself walking on the beach, laughing and smiling, with this man holding my hand.

I saw myself in a coffin, the warlock crying over my body as 2 men pulled him away.

The flashes of the events were fast. I started to sweat, a ringing sensation in my ear, I felt weak in my feet, and I knew, I was going to fall.

I opened my eyes, and before I fell into his arm, I manage to blurt out "Marcus?"

And everything went black, as I felt my body hit something hard. I know he caught me.
