The Tides of life

by YorkGewatter
How rough are the tides of life?
and where do they take you?

Do the storms, waves, monsters and gales
ravage your ship?
Are your sails torn,
hull cracked and quarters flooded?

Do you pray for the paradise
your optimism created
when you set sail?

Does the image of it fade
with every wave tackling the ship?

Does your heart sink
like the heavy anchor
desperate to latch on to anything?

Do your lungs damage with every breath
of water filled air?

Tho this all may be so,
This all may be present.
But the prize at the end,
is worth all the torment.
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?
