The Side Story

by Cyneburg's Field
In a love story of a one true pair where the boy likes the girl and the girl loves the boy, there is always something that separates the both of them.
The girl is forced to suppress her feelings to him, and the boy ended up to be heartbroken. The girl, on the other hand, is heartbroken as well.
The boy thinks that the girl is really not for him, and that he needs to move on. The boy keeps on diverting his thoughts into thinking that the girl doesn't feel the same for him. In that way, he thought it would be easier to forget her.
In the process of forgetting the girl, the boy gets to know another girl which has diverted his attention to. This other girl happens to like him, too, and when he had the chance, he confessed his feelings to her. The boy was just confused, thinking that what he's feeling is something romantic, but isn't. He thinks he like her, and that he's already in the process of forgetting the first girl he liked. He likes this new girl because of a lot of things. But when he thinks about what he likes of the first one, he can't even think of any.
He thinks it's better that way. He doesn't even know that the reason why he liked the first girl is that because it's not just an ordinary like, but a true and pure one. He doesn't realize how different this like is from the feeling of like he feels to the new girl. That his like to the first girl is a long process of forgetting, but to the new one, is just a dust in the wind.
His relationship to the new girl formed, and they encountered a problem. What a tough luck he has, it's the same thing that separated him from the first one. The only difference is that, this new girl is too afraid to let him go; too afraid to do the same of what the first girl did.
If that thing that separated him from the first girl doesn't exist in the first place, they would have worked out. The boy and the first girl.
After all, it's the same story to the second girl, and it's nothing but a boring, side story of the real love story him and first girl has.
And I, happened to be the second girl.
