The Girl in the Rain

by Slave Prince
It was Thursday afternoon,
And it was raining so hard.
Through the transparent glass,
I saw a girl outside in a white dress.
Smiling softly towards me,
I was speared severely.
The strong wind didn’t stop her ,
In enjoying every drop of the rain.
I walked out at the street,
Wanting to join her with the cold air.
When I was at the front of her,
She smiled wider than before.

I held her hand and asked her,
“Why are you smiling under the rain,
Why are you enjoying this cold air?”
She replied this eternal words to me,
“ I am not enjoying this,
The smile you see outside,
Is nothing but a fake happiness.
Broken hearted girls like me,
Want to go out and be free.
As the raindrops drop on my face,
The tears which is not visible in your sight,
Flow down with the water that heals.
Hoping that the rain as drops,
Will wash away all my lamentations and thorns.
Thank you for coming,

You became the rain on my face.”
