The daughter who met her dad in dreams, FOREVER!

by Sivaranjini Senthilvel
"Daddy! Daddy!

The 4 year old screamed with excitement,

Whenever he came back from office.

And hugged him tight, which didn't suffice,

For portraying the strength of the thread of love, connecting the two souls...

One fine day, which also they believed

Would be one among the finest days of their lives,

The little one bid a goodbye believing it to be a temporary one,

And left to school.

That sincere building contractor,

Forgot his foremost father duty,

And climbed to the 35th floor of an unfinished building,

And,while caring for perfection in the building,

Forgot to care for his life,

AND let his self drop down like a rain drop,

AND DISAPPEARED ...

Forever...

Unlike the times he used to play hide and seek with his daughter,

Thus leaving the little one, search for him the whole day

And then, she cried , unable to put up with failure...

Then in her dream, he came, and said ,

" YOU HAVEN'T LOST, MY DEAR SWEETING! IT'S ME, WHO LOST YOU , THE GEM OF MY LIFE! "

And she kissed him good night in her dreams, forever.............
