Sunset's splendour!

by Sivaranjini Senthilvel
The sunset sky resembles silk
Tinged with glittering golden hues

Blending and dissolving into adamantine azure!

If all the world had sunset now,
The globe would look a brilliant pietersite sphere!

The lights peeping through the windows of skyscrapers
Are resplendent beads and pearls lying studded in the brilliant fabric

That fall on the glistening wavy backwaters
Whose ripples coax me with their twinkle
To become one
And remain a thing of beauty
Which would remain a joy forever...
