Smell of Rain; Grasses; Power Cut

by Lorenzo A. Fernandez Jr.
Smell of Rain

When there is rain
I need no aphrodisiac—
Its smell is enough!

Grasses

Grasses, grasses. . .
I don’t know what they mean
Until I step on them
Barefooted.

Power Cut

A blackout,
Only moonlight and curses—
And whiskey breath.
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?

January 21, 2016 - 09:13 The smell when grass is cut, and wet ground when it rains. The smell of frangipani flowers, I hate whiskey breath :-(
