Shyness Won

by purpletears
Is she an angel? The young man thought, after she saw that lady walking down the street. She looked as if God was sent his most beautiful angel to Earth. More than anything else in the world, the young man wanted to approach her, just to chat. Exchanging just a few words with that petite beauty would be enough for his heart to feel a little bit happier. But as he got closer to her, the young man's heart just skipped a bit. That painful shyness striked up again. He got tongue tied, as his cheeks viciously blushed.
“Not again, please!”, the man mumbled to himself. But It was too late to beg for mercy. That same old anxiety was hitting him again.
“Um, sorry? Do I know you?”, the girl asked, after realizing he was staring at her so deeply.
“No.. Sorry. I guess I mistook you for someone else”, he mumbled.
“Oh, that's fine”, she said, and kept walking”
The young man just stood silent, cursing his own shyness. A beautiful angel just passed him by. Maybe one of those days, he would be strong enough to talk to someone he liked. But today, loneliness won, leaving him alone, as usual, as ever.
