REBUKE

by lizjay
Slap after slap
Right in the middle of my face
You knocked me down
Not for me to touch the ground
But to wake me up

Isn’t a kiss better than a slap?
But you chose a slap
Because it contains the truth
Not a deceitful kiss
Full of hypocrisy and pretending

Left and right I wander
In the midst of dew and fog
And you send someone special
To pull me by the horn
And put me back in the right track
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?
