There is nothing left to say
What could have been
Will never be

Thoughts of you
Are here to stay
You haunt me both night and day
Will you ever keep in touch
I miss you and your words so much
Though there is nothing left to say
I will love you come what may
Should I still cry?
Should I still weep?
Did I ever really matter?
For if only I'd seen
What a fool I've been
I really was just another.

If you are alone, you can find a partner. But it also doesn't make you free and brings you a lot of problems. This is our life...
