NOT His True Love

Charlie had a crush on Jessica for a few years now. He had tried to give a love note to her several times before but he still does not has the courage to. One morning, at the school gate,he met his bestfriend, Annie. Annie discovered about Charlie's secret crush on Jessica. She persuades him to give the love note to her. When they arrive in front of their classroom, they bump into Jessica. Annie quickly pushes Charlie as a signal to give her the special note.

Happily, Jessica accepted the love note! After class, Annie cheered happily for Charlie all the way in the hallway. Charlie felt more confident after his crush accepted his love note.

On their way to their locker, Annie noticed Jessica talking to her friends across the hall. It wasn't that far from their distance to hear what they are saying.

"Hey girls! I got another love letter!" Jessica shows Charlie's love note to her friends. They asks who was it from.

"This time its from that nerd guy, Charlie. Can you believe it? A short-head like him wants to date a perfect girl like me? HAH! As if!" " Being popular can be hard sometimes..!" they laughed evilly

And of course, Annie and Charlie did heard everything. Annie felt her heart burn with anger. Then without waiting another second,she punches Jessica right in the face and she fall to the ground!

"HOW DARE YOU! Do you think YOU deserve a guy like Charlie?! He gave you his sincere heart and you threw it away like garbage! Whats so great about faking two faces in front of everybody? You don't deserve to be anyone's idol! you liar! I rather date a sheep then meeting a liar like you!" Annie shouted. At that moment, a teacher calls them to the principles office.

After school, they sit under a shade at the back school."I'm sorry for getting us in trouble Charlie. I just can't help it, i-"

"You don't have to apologize Annie. Actually, I'm the one who should thank you for standing up for me back there.." Charlie smiled gracefully to Annie. For the first time, Annie found the smile very attractive especially with those freckles that sticks around his nose. Annie felt a slight blush covered her face before turning away from Charlie's glaze.

"uh..your welcome..and..i'm sorry it didn't work out..you and-" Charlie cut her sentence twice.

"No. don't even say her name. for now on, I have no issues about her anymore. you know,if it wasn't for you, I will never know who she really is. thank you. again, Annie. You are a true friend" He smiles.

Annie smiles happily. She punches lightly him on the shoulder."Now,now, 'Egg-head! Don't push it to far! I know i'm the best! Hahaha!" they laugh together.

But at that moment, Annie felt a knock on her heart..

Its better you get to know a person before you decide an action . 'Action', i mean trusting them 100% just because they look perfect from the outside.
