No one knows how different I am...

by rekhanshiraghava
No one knows how different I am,
Outside, I am not afraid,
I have no pain, not being ashamed,
I smile, talk, and laugh, as if nothing is wrong with me,
The ignorant fool believe, I am so happy being me,
My eyes went dry; no I don’t shed a tear,
Everything was lost, including someone dear,
I showed up as happy girl, all life long
As if nothing has ever went wrong.

No one knows how different I am,
From inside I am so hollow and empty,
Don’t feel sad, don’t feel pity,
I am shattered, broken, beyond repair,
My heart is trembling, with despair,
I am scared, lost and clueless as I can be,
Is there anyone around that can help me?

No one knows how different I am,
For I am just existing, existing to be who I am
