My Starry Night

by koyaai
The moon gives away a mischievous grin
As it slowly slides behind the clouds

I am awake
You are not
This bitter divide of time and space
Cripples this marred soul
That sleeps by dawn and walks by dusk

The night is my day
And you my sweet
are the stars that illuminate it
with ten thousand smiles
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?
