Memory

Vacant stares
emotionless face
eyes are cast faraway
to a vivid place.

A sudden recollection
of a thing or event
have brought life
to this dull glint.

Is it love or hate, felt
does it harden or melt
the conscious heart
or cause just disillusionment.

Its just a memory, passing by
Settling itself temporarily
to a wondering mind
when in sudden movement of an eye
it's gone again, and out of my mind.
