Lights Went Out

by purpletears
When the lights went out,
There were no more places to hide it;
There was no use in deny it.
The shadows protected
The young lovers
From any hurtful stares.
"Is this right or wrong?"
There was no time for asking.
What's the point it wasting minutes
Trying to make sense out of a raw emotion?
When the lights went out,
a couple of spirits
Became one and the same.
Defying everything and everybody,
Their bodies got together
On the warmest embrace.
The lights went out,
And the music of the place
Set the mood for a magical encounter.
For the young couple,
Everybody else disappeared
From the crowded nightclub.
The stars were shining
Just for them.
