Lighter than Ever

Was she really there? Or was everything only a beautiful dream? Not even the young girl was totally sure. Only yesterday, she was taking a nap after a very long day of school, and now she was just here, floating like a feather Her body felt lighter than ever, and her soul seemed happier than ever. For a little moment, almost as small as a heartbeat, she seemed to have left her body behind. She got turned into a bodiless entity; a being made of pure thoughts and ideas. Was she still alive? There was no actual way to know it for certain. There was a little chance that she was actually dead… So what? The sensation that filled her soul up, was so gentle, that it made really harder to feel scared.The young woman was feeling at peace with herself, and there was little room for concern. Somebody healed the wounds of her soul, without her even noticing it. Maybe this was nothing but a beautiful dream, but for her, it was sweeter than her own reality. This is what she always wanted; being free of those fears that kept her down for so many years. Now, she was free.
