KIN-verse

by Utkarsh
From the trivial snappy January days,
it was the one past republic date,
when the sunlight blossomed with golden gaze,
as the mighty messiah was instilled in our fate

Waiting from an eon, we welcomed a miss,
I found my chest swelled as, she was my kin,
Soon I remembered the one divine wish
the one for my God I got in your face

When I ponder, in retrospect
I smile crawls in to my lips
as what I smarted at with ignorant aspect…
Asking my mom for 100 days before she leaves

It were your drawings, that got me amused
as all the portraits bore our inherited names
be it Papa, Cha-cha or joker, they were all Mishras
the way a toddler sees his little world, I’m always amazed

Now, as this verse comes to a close
It’s time for me to affirm you close
That though my workdays are nowadays close
Whenever u miss me , I’ll stay close..
Let others and the author know if you liked it

Liked it alot?

So I sit here alone, on this piano bench.
My heart weeps for the past, in a dusty wrench.
My fingers are ready to play, ready to tease!...
