Her Darkness (part 7)

by purpletears

She remembered the last night as something amazing. As usual, she put her best clothes on. A little bit of red lipstick on her lips, to make them look like two juicy apple pieces. She combed her black curls, and went out to try to find a little bit of fun. Then, luck was kind to her, as she was able to interest a young man called Caleb. Unlike the men she had meet, he looked nice and somewhat calm. Instead of just get to drink, the young lady and Caleb enjoyed a good time chatting. They had a lot of common, like a never ending love for book and cats. As minutes passed by, she got afraid that he could lose interest in her. So, the young lady tried to speed up things, by trying to make Caleb forget about chatting, and telling him about she wanted to spend the night with him. The young man felt shocked at such a sudden proposition, so he politely declined it. The woman felt as if her world was ending. She came back home alone. Suddenly, she found herself staring into the barrel of a gun. Nobody cared about her. She was so alone.
