To keep herself busy, she tried going out a little bit more often, even going clubbing every single time she had a chance. Yes, those fake lights gave her a reason to smile.. for a few minutes, but when she was alone, that emptiness got worse by the second Even when the lady deny it, her soul longed for a little bit of light. But… where to find it? Everywhere she looked at, there was nothing but emptiness; people trying to feel their souls with drinks or cheap electronic gadgets. But as much as she hurted, the young woman realized that there was no much she could do. That's the way the modern world works. After making that painful realization, the young girl slowly began to change. Her eyes, the ones that once looked like beautiful windows to a clear night sky, now looked so empty. Was she getting used to pain? Maybe… Or perhaps, her spirit was getting numb. The tears of the young woman had finally dried, and so did her soul. Nights got longer and longer, but at one point, her heart suddenly stopped longing for the warmest of the embraces. The only thing left to do, was to keep walking this path of shadows.
