Heavy caskets

by Manahill Naik
Don't forget
Never forget
Don't pretend
Never pretend
Have not you been made aware?
Sins and the darkness you spread
Burdens the casket.
*
Walk over
The detritus of broken souls
Don't you think,
The rustling leaves haven't seen you,
Scar the trees
And when you planted grimy deeds
Don't you suppose,
The soil has been berefted of conciousness
It has heard
It has seen
The soil can hold grudges
As well as you can

*
Fear
For everything you broke
Awaits.
*
Have not you been made aware?
There's no one to carry the sinned caskets
There's no one to bury the sinned caskets
Now that you've been made aware,
Would you walk toward the light?
